Andreu Silverman - Biography

Andreu Silverman was born in Spain and raised in Madrid and Cataluña. He worked in Restaurant Nautic and La Grutta in L'Escala, Spain under Chef Vicens Lavado Indias. After having worked all around Spain, Silverman decided to move to Miami, where he started at Por Fin restaurant in Coral Gables under Chef Luis Quant and then went to Rincon Asturiano under Chef Pepe Torrens. In 2011 Silverman was the opening chef for Route 9 in Coral Gables, where he infuses Latin and local flavors into American-style cuisine.
