James Versocki has years of experience advocating for the restaurant industry, including nearly a decade of work for the New York State Attorney General’s office, including as Assistant Attorney General, counsel to the Department of Labor. In 2009, he was appointed by the Commissioner of Labor to the Hospitality Wage Board, where he helped redraft the outdated labor regulations that guide the restaurant and hotel industry.

Since 2011, Versocki has been counsel to the New York City chapter of the New York State Restaurant Association, guides it in all aspects of its operations, including advocating on all levels of government, providing the best and most comprehensive cost-saving services to members, and bringing operators together for educational, networking, and idea-sharing events.
