Brewer Josh Magnani of Contraband Coffee Bar - Biography

Josh Magnani developed a taste for coffee by operating a coffee kiosk in one of Oakland's government buildings for years. Wanting to focus on the quality side of coffee, Magnani teamed up with a group of enthusiasts to open Contraband Coffee Bar in 2010. Located on the border of the Nob Hill and Russian Hill neighborhood's, Magnani and co. are happily bringing their stellar coffee to one of the city's underserved neighborhoods.
