Brewer Mark Thomas of Vault Brewing Company - Biography

After graduating with a degree in computer science for the University of Delaware, Brewer Mark Thomas maintained a double life. He worked at IBM by day and brewed fermented concoctions by night. As his beer-making hobby grew more serious than his technology career, Thomas took brewing courses at Siebel Institute of Technology and Colorado Boy Brewing Company. And when James, John, and Jim Cain offered Thomas the chance to use his 10 years of home brewing experience to start Vault Brewing Company, he leapt at the chance to realize his vision of handcrafted ales. Thomas designed the brewery and e draft system, and is responsible for all things beer at Vault, from recipe creation and barrel-aging to cleaning the tanks.
