Mixologist Valerie Boyle of Contrada - Biography

Valerie Boyle got her start in bartending at just about the right age—she was 21, and working in Honolulu, Hawaii. She may have been behind a bar, but Boyle got her first formative cocktail-specific work in Philadelphia, by then 23. Now with several more years under her belt, she’s moved into her first gig in New York City, running the Italian-driven cocktail program at the recently opened Contrada in the East Village.
