Join Wheeling Forward and New York City's best sommeliers on May 2 at Wine of Wheels, an event that brings together some of the greatest sommeliers and wines in the world to help serve NYC's disabled community. Wine on Wheels invites oenophiles and novices to journey through more than 150 wines poured by 50 sommeliers, all lead by co-founder Yannick Benjamin. New this year, will be a series of seminars hosted by GuildSomm, featuring a focused look at individual wine regions, spirits and the technique of blind tasting.

2015 Schedule of Events
A Tour of Sonoma Pinot Noir with Morgan Harris Sommelier of Aureole
11am to 12pm
The Guild of Sommeliers and Morgan Harris will give you a detailed breakdown on the benchmark producers and explain what makes Sonoma so special and why it produces some of the finest Pinot Noir in the world. The Sonoma Seminar is a rare opportunity to taste some of the best Pinot Noir producers in all of California from older vintages. Morgan Harris currently works at the Michelin-starred Aureole restaurant and holds his advanced certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. He has competed at the national level in several sommelier competitions and was named one of 2012s Best New Sommeliers by Wine and Spirits magazine.

"What's Happening in the Languedoc-Rousillon" with Jamal Rayyis of Sud de France

The Languedoc-Roussillon is the largest wine producing region in the world, with a growing reputation for exceptional quality wines. Jamal Rayyis is the US correspondent/critic of the French wine publication Gilbert Gaillard and is writing a book on the politics of gastronomy. His blog www.PalateSavvy.com covers the world of wine and gastronomy from social and political perspectives.

A Taste of White Bordeaux with Andrew Rastelllo Sommelier of Eleven Madison Park
2:15pm to 2:35pm
Allow Andrew Rastello formerly of Gramercy Tavern and now the Sommelier at Eleven Madison Park to introduce you to the other side of Bordeaux. Bordeaux offers much more than red and sweet wines. Some of the most delicious and underrated dry white wines currently being produced in the wine world come from Bordeaux. Andrew will introduce you to steely and crisp styles to full and oaked Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc Blends.

How to Taste like a Sommelier Blind Tasting Session!
2:45pm to 3:05pm
Josh Nadel Wine Director of The Dutch and Jack Mason Wine Director of Marta's Restaurant will give you tips on how to taste and order the right wine for yourself next time you buy a bottle. All four wines poured will be individually wrapped so that Josh and Jack will not know what the wines are. They will give you some of their secret techniques on how to Blind Taste and you will be there every step of the way! Not to be missed!

How Cognac and Armagnac Ages with PM Spirits
3:10pm to 3:30pm
Sean Kerby is the Spiritual Leader of PM Spirits, a Boutique Import company specializing in small production spirits. He will do a comparative tasting of both a young Cognac and Armagnac and compare it to an older Cognac and Armagnac and explain the aging process that makes these two spirits so special.
