Friday, November 15, the James Beard Foundation will host the 2013 James Beard Foundation Gala: Women in Whites at the Four Seasons to honor women in the culinary industry. Honorary event chairs Tyra Banks, Gail Simmons, and Martha Stewart, will be joined by some of the country’s most formidable chefs (who just so happen to be women): Dominique Crenn, Kristen Kish, Melissa Kelly, Barbara Lynch, and Sherry Yard, with wine pairings from Merry Edwards and reception cocktails from Audrey Saunders.
