17th Annual Great Taste Of The Grove

Savor the True Flavor of Coconut Grove

More than 25 featured restaurants will offer samplings from fine dining to casual cuisine at the 17th Annual Great Taste of the Grove on Sunday, January 14, 2007 in Peacock Park. Local Grove restaurants will showcase thier culinary talents with samplings a la carte ranging from $1.00 to $8.00. The event is FREE to the public with ticket sales for food and beverages. Come enjoy lunch, dinner, or dessert or just plan to stay for the entire day, starting at 11;00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Adding to the event's international experience will be a wine tasting and live musical entertainment. A variety of wines from around the world will be presented in an exclusive unlimited tasting tent for $10 per person. Featured stage performances will present classic and Latin as well as contemporary funk and blues groups. A children's area will also be available with activities, face painting and a selection of savory sweets.

The Great Taste of the Grove is hosted by the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce and coordinated through the volunteer efforts of it's members. It is proud to take part in this annual food and jazz festival in an effort to bring the community together to share in a cultural exchange of food, music and a day of fun.
