"3dog Cantina" Will Open To The Public On Mexican Independence Day
Curtis Nysmith is thrilled to announce that his highly anticipated "3Dog Cantina" will open its doors to the public on Mexican Independence Day, Sunday, September 16th 2012. The 6,000 square foot Spacecraft-designed Mexican Cantina is a spectacular oasis nestled in the center of Hollywood's blooming Cahuenga Corridor and promises to deliver fresh, innovative, regional Mexican cuisine and specialty cocktails in a stunning setting inspired by the traditional Mexican art of celebration.
Owner and concept creator Curtis Nysmith ("SmithHouse Tap & Grill" and "The Blue Boar") is thrilled to open his doors on Mexican Independence Day. "If there is one day that draws families and friends together throughout Mexico, it's their annual independence day. Cuevas is known best for pioneering the "underground dining" movement in Chicago and brings his innovative approach to the menu at 3Dog Cantina. Some menu highlights include:
- Pork Pozole - Braised Pork in Rich Guajillo Chile Broth w/ Hominy Corn. Served w/ Napa Cabbage and Pickled Radish Cup
- Cauliflower Ceviche - Lime Marinated Tender Cauliflower, Salsa Cruda, Avocado, Pickled Onion, With Tortilla Chips and Salsa Tamazula
- Chicken Mole Torta - Braised Braised Chicken w/ Mole Poblano, Romaine Lettuce, Queso Fresco, and Pickled Veggies
- Crispy Chivo Tacos - Slow Cooked Jalisco Style Goat, Romaine Lettuce, Roasted Tomato Salsa, and Cilantro Crema
