North Americas greatest collection of ultra premium Single Malt Whiskies, Boutique Bourbons and unique high end, specialty distilled spirits from Scotland, Ireland, the U.S. and numerous places around the world will be gathered for the ultimate in sampling and educational experiences under one roof on March 20, 2004 at the Hilton San Francisco, 333 OFarrell St, Union Square.

As in previous years, hundreds of superior aged distilled spirits will be poured, many being exhibited for the first time. From as far away as Croatia to as near as the Bay Area, the Expo prides itself on exhibiting truly handcrafted artisan spirits, many being presented by their creators! This large and lively educational tasting event, will host 3000 plus consumer attendees who will be treated to the live Celtic music of the Peninsula Scottish Fiddlers, a bountiful buffet all evening, special spirit/culinary demonstrations-Cooking With Fine Spirits- with Master Chef and spirits specialist, Martine Nouet from France; Michael Foley of Chicagos Printers Row Restaurant and more ; the International Speakers Forum of Distillers and Brand Ambassadors which runs in multiple breakout rooms all evening long- fine spirits and accessories retailers; a spectacular museum quality display of ancient Scottish weaponry and historic art; Celtic travel specialist booths and many other unique features including (back by demand!) ScharffenBerger Chocolates & Fine Whiskies Pairing Booth with master chocolatier, Robert Steinberg as well as our delicious pairings of handmade Andante California cheeses and Zigante Truffles.

Master distillers and producers of award winning spirits, including Evan Cattanach of The Classic Malts; Dave Pickerell of Makers Mark; Michael Urquart of Gordon & MacPhail; Fergus Hartley of Bowmore; Parker Beam of Heaven Hill; John Glaser of Compass Box, Fred Noe of Jim Beam Small Batch Bourbons to name just a few. Many more distillers,brand ambassadors, industry experts, journalists & international whisky writers will again attend this spectacular proven event, offering their knowledge and presenting the finest results of their craft during 18 scheduled seminars throughout evening. The Whiskies of the World Expo has grown so large in the last 4 years that what in the past has been our Specialty Spirits Room is now being renamed and expanded into the
San Francisco Spirits Festival .
This separate Tasting Hall will run concurrently with the Whiskies of the World Expo!!!!! Now we can offer a full venue which includes an annually growing variety of rare Cognacs, Armagnacs and exemplary California micro batch Brandies as well as aged rums, eau de vie, handcrafted/infused vodkas, artisan herbal gins and distilled spirits based gourmet liqueurs.



In 2004 we are planning two nights of Spirits & Chef-ery Infusion Dinners, specially designed to experience the incredible possibilities of cooking with fine spirits. Dinners will be held at Bay Area restaurants, Thursday and Friday evenings, March 18 and 19, 2004 and menus will be a collaboration between
