Amada Celebrates New Year's With Exquisite Andalusian Inspired Dinner
AMADA CELEBRATES NEW YEAR'S EVE
WITH EXQUISITE DINNER AND LIVE SPANISH MUSIC
PHILADELPHIA, PA - For New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31, Chef Jose Garces, owner of Amada, the city's premier Spanish tapas restaurant and bar located at 217 Chestnut Street, will create an exquisite menu of Andalusian inspired fare. The prix fixe, three course menu will be accompanied by a Spanish guitarist.
"It's been a great year for us and to wrap it up on a high note, we've put together an exceptional menu for New Year's Eve," says Chef Garces who will celebrate the New Year by opening his second restaurant Tinto in January 2007.
Reservations are available from 4 to 7:30 pm with a prix fixe menu that will cost $85 per person. Reservations from 9 to 10:30 pm include open bar and entertainment and will cost $175 per person. Some of the three course dinner's selections include: Big Eye Tuna Crudo, with Espelette Chili and avocado; Raspberry Point Oysters, with cava sabayon, Osetra caviar and artichoke puree; Beef Tenderloin, with white asparagus and manchego cheese tart and crab basquaise; and Serrano Crusted Sea Scallops, with truffle-stuffed white beans. Since opening in October 2005, Chef Garces and Amada have quickly gained substantial praise from local and national media. The restaurant has been featured in New York Times, New York Daily News and USA Today.
