American Tech Releases Fun And Educational Culinary Game
Homewood, IL - American Technical Publishers, Inc. announces the release of Mise en Place: The Culinary Knowledge Game by Linda J. Trakselis. This new board game is designed to educate learners and culinary enthusiasts about the food service industry. The object of the game is to advance from entry-level employee through the ranks of apprentice to sous chef and finally to executive chef. Career advancement is achieved by correctly answering questions from each major area of knowledge and then correctly answering a promotion question. The six areas of culinary knowledge include sanitation and safety, equipment, preparation, food science and nutrition, menu items, and culinary management. Along the path to promotion, players also encounter Tally It Up questions that include measurement conversions, recipe conversions, and the use of fractions and percentages.
