Andaz 5th Avenue Packs Your Picnic For You

Andaz 5th Avenue, a midtown hotel known for its first-class amenities and locally sourced food & beverage offerings, has re-launched their picnic basket service for guests. The seasonal service will offer three picnic basket choices and the option to use an Andaz Picnic Butler to help arrange the perfect day.


Offering three different basket choices to cater to all tastes and budgets, the baskets range in price from $35 per person to $75 per person. The service of an Andaz Picnic Butler also can be purchased for $300. The butler will seek the best possible picnic location and prepare a blanket and the contents of the basket before the guests' arrival. Andaz 5th Avenue is located near some of New York City's best parks such as Bryant Park, Central Park and Madison Square Park, allowing out-of -towners to enjoy New York City like a local.

The picnic baskets are packed with an array of delicacies and treats from the hotel's restaurant the shop. Baskets can be purchased at a two person minimum and are fully equipped with plates and cutlery. The Sandwich Basket at $35 per person includes a sandwich choice of prosciutto, chicken schnitzel or grilled vegetables; along with iced tea, water or lemonade and fresh seasonally cut fruit and chips.

For $45 per person, the Wine Basket includes an assortment of artisanal cheeses, bread, jam and seasonal fruit. Guests can also choose from a variety of wine options to accompany their meal that range from $48 - $120.

Upgrade for a more extravagant picnic by purchasing the Champagne Basket at $75 per person. Ostera caviar, blinis strawberries and other seasonal fruits are served alongside a bottle of Champagne for $95- $220.

Baskets are now offered to guests via Andaz 5th Avenue guest services or by placing orders at the retail section of the shop.
