Angeli Caffe To Celebrate Valentine's Day With 20 Years!

LOS ANGELES- On Sunday, February 13th, Executive Chef Evan Kleiman will celebrate 20 wonderful years at Angeli Caffe. When Kleiman opened the Angeli Caffe in 1984 little did she know that her Trattoria concept would set a trend that would change the culinary face of Los Angeles. Her goal was to duplicate the deliciously fresh dishes she enjoyed in the Italian countryside - rustic, simple food that pleased the senses and satisfied the soul - the very ingredients that have made Angeli Caffe an LA favorite for 20 years.

In those 20 years Kleiman has been busy. While overseeing to every detail at Angeli she managed to find time to write 7 best selling cookbooks including the classic "Cucina Rustica" and "Pasta Fresca"; host the nationally acclaimed radio show "Good Food" broadcast weekly on LA's KCRW; contribute articles to many national food publications lead annual culinary adventures to Italy and much more.

To celebrate this special occasion Chef Kleiman will prepare a fabulous grand buffet feast featuring trademark Angeli dishes - simply delicious Italian food created from the freshest findings available at local farmers markets. "This is a Valentine to our loyal guests and to this wonderful city" said Kleiman. Guests can choose from three options for the evening: Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 5pm for $45, Dinner at 7pm for $60 or Cocktails and dinner for $80 (prices include tax and gratuity).
