Atlanta's 101 Concepts Celebrates A Classic American Christmas

Decking the Halls at The James Beard House Never Tasted So Good

On December 17, 2007, the James Beard House in New York City hosts four chefs from 101 Concepts, a powerhouse restaurant conglomerate based in Atlanta, Georgia. Not only are the chefs all friends, but they are leading the culinary scene and dominating Atlanta dining. The dinner prepared is reminiscent of "A Classic American Christmas," and the chefs will be preparing specialties ranging from familiar dishes such as butternut squash soup and veal pot roast to delicacies like Hudson Valley foie gras and chilled Long Island lobster. Chef Justin Keith of FOOD 101--Sandy Springs, Chef Ron Eyester of FOOD 101--Morningside, Chef Christopher "Chappy" Chappell, Jr. of Coastal Kitchen and Raw Bar, and Chef Linda Harrell of Meehan's Public House have fashioned a menu representative of both their culinary training and creativity. As the temperature drops outside and Christmastime draws near, these chefs will warm the rooms of the James Beard House as they prepare a show-stopping evening of food, wine, and camaraderie.
