August Celebrates Riesling Week 2007
AUGUST RESTAURANT CELEBRATES RIESLING WEEK 2007
NEW YORK, June 11-17 2007 - August will be participating in Wines Of Germany's annual "Riesling Week" event. During this week, August will feature a varied selection of our favorite German whites poured by the glass, giving us an opportunity to showcase the remarkable range of style and versatility that this varietal offers.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that, in conjunction with Michael Skurnik and Terry Theise, we will be offering a 4-course pairing dinner showcasing Rieslings from superstar Rheingau producer Josef Leitz. The bright, clean vibrancy of these wines are a perfect match for a menu of German inspired dishes from Executive Chef Tony Liu. Ryan Ibsen of August and a representative of Terry Theise will be on hand to discuss the wines and pairings. The dinner will take place on Tuesday, June 12th, 2007 and reservations will be offered throughout the evening.
Dinner will be $75/ per person for the pairing menu, plus tax and a 20% gratuity.
