August Restaurant/ Polaner Selections Loire Valley Chenin Dinner

AUGUST RESTAURANT PRESENTS A WINE DINNER HIGHLIGHTING CHENIN BLANC FROM THE LOIRE VALLEY

NEW YORK, March 2007 - August Restaurant, in conjunction with Polaner Selections and Louis Dressner Selections, is offering a four course pairing dinner with an emphasis on Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley featuring regionally inspired cuisine. There are remarkable variances in style throughout the region (bubbly, dry, off-dry, sweet), and this event will showcase the versatility of Chenin Blanc while giving Chef Tony Liu an opportunity to focus his regional European cuisine on some great dishes inspired by the Loire Valley.

The event will take place on Tuesday 27 March 2007. Joanna Sherman from Polaner selections and Ryan Ibsen from August will be on hand to discuss the wines and their producers.

Dinner will be $75/ per person plus tax and a 20% gratuity.
