Bastille Day 2002 An Urban Piquenique At Maison Robert

This Bastille Day ... think of cozy communal tables bedecked with colorful French flags, and above, soft twinkling lights in a shady chestnut tree. Costumed waiters serve a seasonal three-course dinner, followed by dancing under the stars to the lively strains of accordian music.

For 31 years, Bostons true Gallic enthusiasts have chosen to celebrate in civilized style at The Terrace at Maison Robert, where an urban piquenique (picnic) provides a Bastille Day alternative to the madding crowds elsewhere.
