Bomboa Cooks Up A Novel Evening

Bomboa welcomes famous author and renowned psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow to its Lounge for the local launch of his new book "Compulsion." Dr. Ablow is most recently recognized for his contribution to the Dr. Richard Sharpe murder case.

Bomboa, chosen as a back-drop for one of the books' Boston scenarios will serve as a forum to meet the noted author on Wednesday, August 7, 2002 between 6:30pm and 8:00pm.

Bomboa Co-Owners, Kasey Anton and Carlos Hidalgo, both alluded to in Ablow's novel, as the character "K.C. Hidalgo", will also welcome that evening fictional protagonist of the Nantucket Island-based murder mystery, Police Chief North Anderson, known in real life as Nantucket Police Chief Randy Norris. And to further commemorate this event, on hand will be Nantucket's own Distillery, Triple Eight Vodka, providing sample tastes and signature drinks from Bomboa's acclaimed Drink Menu.

Guests can enjoy complimentary hors'devours and a cash bar while mingling with the author and main character Chief Norris. Bomboa's kitchen will also be open for a-la-carte dining until midnight.
