October, 2003 Brasserie Les Halles, the popular eating and entertainment destination in New York, Washington, D.C. and Miami, celebrates its anniversary this month on Friday, October 31 - Halloween. It seems fitting that the restaurant that has come to represent the authentic incarnation of the true brasserie spirit of a convivial, lively, inviting and satisfying experience should have been born on one of the most celebrated party days of the year.

Les Halles will be celebrating its anniversary with a Roaring Twenties costume party bringing alive the art deco period when the Grandes Brasseries of Paris were coming into their own and making history. Beginning at 10:00PM, revelers at Les Halles Downtown will channel the spirit of those early brasserie days with a costume party that will begin with free hors doeuvres, and a free glass of Champagne (for anyone in costume). The evening will include a costume contest and Cancan dancers.
