Cafi Atlantico, Jaleo & Zaytinya Salute The Opening Of The American Artists

To celebrate the opening of the Smithsonian American Museum on July 1st, Jose Andres' Penn Quarter restaurants, which surround The American Art Museum, will be featuring specialty drinks during the month of July, each honoring a great American artist. The artistic libations are priced from $7-$9.

CAFI ATLANTICO will feature a Caribbean light rum fresh grapefruits & lime juices served in a martini glass and poured tableside over a tuft of Vanilla Bean Cotton candy, named THE CARIBEAN AFFAIR, to celebrate Ernest Hemingway (a recipe and photo are available upon request). JALEO will feature a sherry 'limonada' named EL JALEO in honor of John Singer Sargent and ZAYTINYA will feature a Hanger Mandarin Blossom cocktail named STORMY SEA, in honor of Winslow Homer, made with peach Snapps and a splash of Blue Curacao.
