Captain Daniel Stone Inn's No. 10 Water Restaurant To Celebrate New Year's Eve In Grand Style
The Captain Daniel Stone Inn (www.captaindanielstone.com) will host a festive New Year's Eve Wine Tasting Dinner to be held at the Inn's on-site No. 10 Water Restaurant. The Inn, situated in Brunswick (southern midcoast Maine), also will be offering a specially priced New Year's Celebration Package for those opting for an overnight getaway.
The New Year's Eve Wine Tasting Dinner, to kick off with a 6 pm sparkling wine and local artisan cheese board reception, will be held on Friday, December 31 in the newly renovated dining room at No. 10 Water. The five-course meal, to begin at 6:30 pm, will be accompanied by specially selected wine pairings, tailored to each course. The chef's menu for the evening will feature Maine Winter Point Oysters paired with King Estate Acrobat Pinot Gris; Crisp Duck Breast Salad paired with Bridlewood Viognier; Lobster Cocktail paired with La Marouette Ros�; a Cold River Vodka Lemon Sorbet Intermezzo; Peppered Roasted Beef Tenderloin paired with David Bruce Petite Syrah; and a House-made Chocolate Caramel Tart paired with Quady Elysium, a blackberry dessert wine.
