Captain Daniel Stone Inn's No. 10 Water Restaurant Launches Weekly, Budget - Friendly Culinary Offerings

Troy Mains, Executive Chef at No. 10 Water Restaurant at Brunswick's Captain Daniel Stone Inn (www.captaindanielstone.com), today announced details of several new, weekly specials the restaurant will be offering beginning Tuesday, January 25.

"Tuesday Gourmet Pizza Nights"
On Tuesday evenings, Chef Mains and his kitchen team will host Tuesday Gourmet Pizza Nights at No. 10 Water, from 5 pm until close. Each Tuesday, patrons will enjoy four different gourmet pizza selections (including at least one vegetarian option), freshly made in the restaurant's brick oven throughout the evening, and served piping hot to guests at their tables. Each table also will enjoy a "bottomless salad bowl," and selected beer and wine offerings will be half-priced every Tuesday evening.

The wallet-friendly meal is $12 for adults and $6 for children 5-12 (excluding tax/gratuity); youngsters 5 and under are free. Take-out pizza will also be available each Tuesday night, and dinner guests favoring upscale pub fare will be able to order from the restaurant's Tavern menu.

"Free Wings Happy Hour," every Thursday and Friday
Beginning Thursday, January 27, complimentary wings and crudit?s will be featured every Thursday and Friday from 4 - 6 p.m. at No. 10 Water Restaurant with purchase of any beer, wine or spirits selection. Guests will enjoy Chef Mains's house-smoked wings with Korean hot sauce, and teriyaki wings with sesame alongside the restaurant's roaring fire. Patrons may want to linger on Friday nights to enjoy the restaurant's savory Prime Rib, as well.

Weekly Sunday Brunch
No. 10 Water's Sunday Brunch will continue to draw a weekly crowd thanks to its flavorful dish variety, classic brunch cocktails, friendly service, and freshly made waffles. Brunch, served from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., is $15.95 for adults and $8.95 for kids 5-12 (excluding tax/gratuity); youngsters 5 and under are free.

"Cooking with Chef Mains" Classes
"Cooking with Chef Mains," the recently launched series of cooking classes taught by Chef Mains, continues in 2011. The participatory group classes are being offered every Wednesday through Friday on an ongoing basis from either 1-3 p.m., 2-4 p.m. or 3-5 p.m., based on availability. Each class is open to private parties of eight to 20 people and will take place in the open kitchen at No. 10 Water.

All classes include preparation of a four-course, custom-designed chef menu with an emphasis on using local, seasonal ingredients. Mains will walk class participants through each step of the cooking process as they learn to make appetizers, side courses, entr?es and desserts in No. 10 Water's open kitchen. After they've prepared their cuisine, participants will enjoy their own creations accompanied by complementary wine pairings in the restaurant's inviting dining room. ($55 per person)

"We really appreciate the growing enthusiasm and support of No. 10 Water Restaurant we're receiving from our community since our May launch," Mains noted. "It's been great to see our Inn and restaurant's reputation as a festive gathering spot grow as word spreads about our special offerings."
