Celebrity Chef David Burke To Be Culinary Director For Strike Bowling Properties Nationwide

Today, Strike Holdings, LLC, the nation's leader in luxury bowling announced their collaboration with renowned New York City chef and restaurateur, David Burke.

As Culinary Director, Burke will play an integral role in redesigning the Strike menu in all five locations (New Hyde Park, NY; Bethesda MD; Miami FL; Orange County, CA and Cupertino, CA). Focusing on inventive packaging and progressive service techniques, menu items will be served in each venue's restaurant as well as on the lanes and available for private events.

Chef Burke's innovative menu is truly reflective of the melting pot that America is today. Burke incorporates ethnic flavors into his dishes, such as the Asian inspired Steamed Shrimp Dumplings with Soy Yuzu Dipping Sauce, or the Corn Flake Fried Grapes with Blue Cheese Slaw and Black Pepper Grape Jelly. Burke also uses his creative flair to put an exciting spin on American classics such as his Taco Trio with Tuna Tartar, Spiced Chicken Salad and Deviled Egg & Bacon Salad or Chinese Calamari served with a Sweet & Spicy Peanut Sauce.

The Strike brand was established in 1997, when CEO Tom Shannon purchased Bowlmor Lanes- a New York City landmark since 1938. He continued to bring his concept nationwide with additional Strike properties. Since 1999, the original Bowlmor Lanes has been the world's most successful bowling alley.
