Charlie Palmer Steak Kicks Off The New Year With All-american Wine Wednesdays
In his continuing quest to showcase American products and producers, Chef Charlie Palmer will kick off the New Year at Charlie Palmer Steak with "Wine Wednesdays," a special promotion designed to allow patrons to experience wines from all 50 states at an incredible value. Every Wednesday, Charlie Palmer Steak will highlight a wine from a different state starting with Alabama on Wednesday, January 11th, followed in alphabetical order by the remaining states.
The featured wine will be offered at a special discounted price, allowing patrons an opportunity to experience wines from regions they might never have discovered. The specially selected wine will be available by the glass and by the bottle in both the dining room and the bar during lunch and dinner.
"As a restaurant whose menu features some of the best American products available, it is very important to me to offer our customers new culinary and wine experiences from around the country," said Chef Palmer. "Plus, they get to sample wines from all over the United States that they might not yet have had the opportunity to try."
Sommelier Nadine Brown has assembled a unique all-American wine list featuring large producers as well as boutique wineries. Some of the wines to be featured include Perdido Vineyard, the first bonded winery in the state of Alabama; the historic, award-winning Elk Run Winery in Mt. Airy, Maryland, located outside of Washington, DC; and Sawtooth Winery, Idaho's second largest wine maker, in the legendary Snake River Valley.
