Chef Jacques Haeringer And Hadco Bring Family And Food Together

Chef, author, and television personality Jacques Haeringer and HADCO, the leading national distributor of specialty appliance products for the home, have joined forces to bring family and food together. Haeringers signature team cooking method based on his philosophy that Love Begins in the Kitchen, is the perfect compliment to HADCOs consumer outreach program and what HADCOs Vice President of Marketing, Barry Cohen, calls Mid-Week Cooking. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed but the relationship will begin in June.

Love Begins in the Kitchen is about family and friends spending time cooking and sharing meals together every day of the week. HADCO has long believed in helping families by providing them with products that provide the time to be together, says Cohen, adding, Jacques Haeringers team cooking and color-coded recipes, combined with our time-saving products, can reduce the cooking time by 50-75% when preparing the family meal. This allows families to have more time to spend together without sacrificing the flavor and quality of their favorite meal.

Haeringers team cooking recipes are color-coded, breaking the meal preparation into teams. Each team has a role in the recipe and they all come together to complete the meal. Team Cooking will be featured prominently in Haeringers forthcoming cookbook, Love Begins in the Kitchen.

As part of his relationship with HADCO, Haeringer will develop exclusive recipes to be used with each of the three family-friendly ovens in the Thermador line. They are the SMW272 All-in-One Center, the CM Convection/Microwave unit, and the CJ Convection/Jet Direct oven. All three provide time-saving cooking options. In addition, Haeringer will perform cooking demonstrations on these units at various HADCO showrooms and events across the country showing consumers how to save cooking time yet enhance meal quality.

Whether in his role as a successful restaurateur and chef at his familys award-winning Washington, DC restaurant, LAuberge Chez Francois, or in the family kitchen, Jacques Haeringer has inspired millions with his love of cooking. To that end, he has created a simple guide to planning and preparing meals that create a sense of celebration, whether the meal is for two or twenty-two. By following Haeringers clear and simple instructions, both new and experienced cooks can perfect their culinary techniques while enjoying wonderful, stress-free dining experiences.

Similarly, HADCOs vision is to add value to the innovative products and services they provide to consumers. Focused on their customer and dedicated to their complete satisfaction, HADCO makes every consumer experience memorable for the consistent quality of their efforts.

Jacques Haeringer has appeared in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, Southern Living, Cosmopolitan, Better Homes and Gardens, Bridal Guide and Wine & Spirits magazines and was featured on CNNs Moneyline with Lou Dobbs. Haeringer is a regular contributor to bridal sites and magazines, giving tips and advice on creating your first kitchen, having your first dinner party, and how to keep the honeymoon going. He is a frequent guest on national culinary radio shows and, on July 1, will be a featured chef on The Today Show.

LAuberge Chez Francois, founded by Jacques father, Francois Haeringer, in post World War II America, is the favorite restaurant of celebrities, foreign dignitaries and power brokers in Washington, DC. Nestled among the lush green hills of Northern Virginia, this charming French country inn provides a wonderful dining experience in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. To this day, Francois still greets guests and supervises all aspects of the restaurant. Over the years, LAuberge Chez Francois has received numerous awards and accolades and is often featured in magazines such as Bon Appetit, Washingtonian, and Gourmet and regularly holds a top spot in Zagats Survey.
