Chef Whips Up New Web Site To Help Fight Breast Cancer
Introducing
www.chefsformammograms.com
Prestonsburg, Kentucky
Celebrity chef Michael's signature granola recipe is not only satisfying cravings; it is also making it possible for more women to get mammograms.
Chef Michael -- whose all-natural Granola has been enjoyed by John Travolta, Chef Robert Irvine, and Miss West Virginia 2003 Allison Williams, to name just a few -- created Chefsformammograms to help fund this important diagnostic test that can detect breast cancer.
By selling Chef Michael's Signature granola (offered through www.chefsformammograms.com), he hopes to make a mark in the fight against breast cancer.
Chef Michael's vision was inspired by his mother Dolores, who began teaching him to cook when he was just four. She passed away from breast cancer in 1976, just one year before she could see him graduate from the Culinary Institute of America.
As a lifelong humananitarian, Michael believes this is yet another way to give back.
Each bag of Granola sold will generate a donation of $2
to Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. an acute care hospital that
specializes in cancer services and which is home to the Women's Imaging Pavilion for mammograms and other diagnostic procedures.(www.oceanmedicalcenter.com)
Chefsformammograms is also holding a ChefsPKG recipe contest challenge, in which the recipe must use the entire contents of three packages, plus no more then seven other ingredients. First prize is $1,000, with a second and third prize to be awarded. The prize will increase with each banner ad placed on www.chefsformammograms.com. There will be no registation required, no passwords to remember, and all your information stays with us.
