Chez Pierre Announces Sale!!

Tallahasee-
Four-time Golden Spoon Award winning restaurant, Chez Pierre, has gone on the Sale Block as announced by owners Chef Eric Favier and partner of 15 years, Karen Cooley.

The restaurant has been a Tallahassee landmark in this capital city for almost 30 years, from its roots on Adams Street when Favier and Cooley first purchased it from founders Pierre and Rainey Vivier to its move to the beautiful Thomasville location, whose wide balocinies and decks are shaded by sweeping oaks and whose gardens were designed by Clara Jane Carroll Smith.

In addition to offering live music and murder mystery dinners on site throughout the year, the restaurant supports artists and musicians though such organizations as the Young Actor's Theater, Tallahassee Little Theatre, The Brogan, Tallahassee Museum, LeMoyne and The Challenger Center.

Chez Pierre, especially popular among state legislators and FSU faculty, has been one of Tallahassee's most unique restaurants in this chic Midtown Area of Tallahassee.

The entire facility is conducive to socializing and lingering, with its outdoor bandshell and dance floor, inimate cocktail lounge, private dining rooms, an upstairs banquet facility, and includes over an acre of property that is also used for festivals and special occasions. It is a remarkable 250-seat French bistro that also offers good old Southern hospitality.

Cooley and Favier have decided to "pass the baton" after 15 years of their ownership and accomplishment where they built sales (from $250,000 yr to over $2 million today), have won a first class reputation, and have given back to the community.
