City Of Rome Announces Weeklong Series Of Events

The City of Rome in collaboration with the Commerce Council of the City of Rome, the Tourism Council of the Province of Rome and the Agriculture Council of the Region of Lazio announce Roman Cuisine Educational. To launch the program, there will be a presentation to the press on July 11th at 11:00 am at the Italian Culinary Academy.

Renowned Roman chef Andrea Fusco and wine expert Ian D'Agata will travel from Rome to lead the week's events.

Roman Cuisine Educational is a weeklong series of events that will bring the rich cuisine, local products and celebrated wines to New York City from July 9-13, 2007. Through a mix of activities, consumers, trade and culinary students will have the opportunity to learn how the foods and wines from the Eternal City have evolved to secure a place in today's modern culinary world.

There will be a buffet lunch immediately following the presentation that will be prepared by renowned Roman chef Andrea Fusco, proprietor of Giuda Ballerino, considered one of the ten best restaurants in Rome.
