Colby Hill Inn Announces New Chef De Cuisine

Colby Hill Inn, an award winning country inn with fine dining restaurant in South Central New Hampshire announces the promotion of Christian Pasternak from Sous Chef to Chef de Cuisine.

Pasternak is a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute in Essex, Vermont and formerly was with the Bedford Village Inn and the Canterbury Shaker Village, "Shaker Table" restaurant prior to joining the Colby Hill Inn in the spring of 2005.

Pasternak utilizes a cooking local philosphy and New England contemporary cuisine.

Upcoming special culinary events include "Cooking Confidential - An Evening With the Chef" cooking class Jan. 9 and March 27, "Winter Wonderland Wine Dinner" on January 29 and the 5th Annual Chocolate Lover's Weekend March 10-12.

The Colby Hill Inn is a 14-room country inn, 90 minutes North of Boston. The inn has received the coveted Wine Spectator Award of Excellence as well as Best Evening Cuisine and Best Chef Awards from Arrington's Inn Traveler Magazine and the Concord Monitor Newspaper. Additionally, the inn is a member of the Select Registry, Distinguished Inns of North America and is a Yankee Magazine Editor's Pick. The inn and its acclaimed dining have been featured recently in Ski Magazine.
