Color Me Red--red Sage/andre Chreky Supports The Red Cross
Washington, D.C (August 5, 2003): Whoever said blondes have more fun has never gone red. In celebration of its milestone 10th anniversary, Red Sage has teamed up with Andre Chreky, the salon spa, to help Washingtonians "Color Me Red Sage Red" in support of the American Red Cross of the National Capital Area. The fundraiser features two special packages designed for supporters to "Go Red Sage Red" from head to toe this fall: The promotion launches on October 1, 2003 and it is hoped that hundreds or Washingtonians and visitors to the city will join the Red Sage in its support for this great cause and sport the new color. The packages include the following:
o Color Me Red Sage Red for Lunch includes an American Red Cross tote bag containing a certificate for an Andre Chreky, the salon spa manicure/pedicure and lunch for two in The Grill at the Red Sage. The cost is $120 with 50 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Red Cross.
o Color Me Red Sage Red for Dinner includes an American Red Cross tote bag containing a certificate for the exclusive Andre Chreky, the salon spa, Red Sage hair color, which has been created especially for this campaign, and blow dry, an American Red Cross silk scarf and dinner for two in The Grill at the Red Sage. The price of the package is $290 with over 50 percent of the procedes benefiting the Red Cross.
A complimentary new fall lipstick and nail polish courtesy of OPI and Andre Chreky, the salon spa, are included in each package.
Executive Chef Michael Greenstein of Red Sage will also feature some red-inspired menu items reflecting the restaurants support for the Red Cross through specialty dishes that include Venison with a Pomegranate Sauce, Roasted Shallots and Turnips, and Steamed Redfish with Saffron,Tomatoes, Peppers, Onion, Gaeta Olives, Preserved Lemon, and Cous Cous.
