The Copper Beech Inn Receives Wine Spectator Award
September 21, 2007 --- ESSEX, CT --- The Copper Beech Inn, selected as one of the "Top 100 Hotel Restaurants in America" by USA Today and Zagat, today announced that it has received Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" for its restaurants - The Ivoryton Room and Brasserie Pip.
The coveted award, selected each year by Wine Spectator's judges, salutes restaurants with an exceptional selection of winemakers as well as a thematic match to the restaurant's menus in both price and style. With over 500 selections and 4,000 bottles, The Copper Beech Inn's wine list has been hailed by the New York Times as "quite spectacular". With such impressive selections as a 1996 Chevalier-Montrachet by Michel Niellon, a 1981 Bollinger Brut R.D. or a 1986 Silver Oak Cabernet, the Copper Beech Inn's wine list has a selection for every palate.

The restaurants at The Copper Beech Inn serve dinner daily from 5:00 PM except Monday.
