About Crew Carolina LLC
A constant in Charleston's culinary culture for more than ten years, Crew Carolina, LLC, offers an extraordinary lineup of restaurants and culinary services that continuously exceed the expectations of their discerning clientele. The brainchild of Charleston attorney, Richard S.W. Stoney, Crew Carolina was founded in 1996 with the opening of the Boathouse at Breach Inlet, located on the Isle of Palms, S.C. Two additional Boathouse locations, The Boathouse on East Bay, in historic downtown Charleston and The Boathouse on Lake Julian, in Asheville, N.C. soon followed in the success of their predecessor, the original Boathouse at Breach Inlet. Perfecting "simply fresh seafood", The Boathouse restaurants boast rich portions of innovative Lowcountry cuisine; skillfully prepared fresh seafood, sushi and raw bar selections; and straight off-the-boat nightly specials, all impeccably prepared and certain to delight every guests' discriminating palate.

Crew Carolina acquired Carolina's on Exchange, a landmark in Charleston's culinary history for more than 40 years, in 2004. As the only Charleston restaurant located south of Broad Street, Carolina's offers their guests magnificent views of the Charleston River and one of the most romantic dining atmospheres in the city. Executive Chef Rose Durden, more affectionately known as "Mama Rose", has made Carolina's a time-honored tradition in the Charleston community by skillfully creating a variety of Asian infused Lowcountry dishes for more than 16 years. Proclaimed by The New York Times as "one of the most elegant restaurants on the East Coast", Carolina's offers an unforgettable dining experience more than 40 years in the making. Preserving the romantic ambiance of its legendary predecessor, Perdita's, Carolina's continues to offer dining in the Perdita's Room, perfect for an anniversary dinner or a romantic night on the town.

Carolina Catering is the newest addition to Crew Carolina's extensive list of culinary offerings. Personalizing events throughout the Charleston and Asheville areas, Carolina Catering offers an exceptional array of culinary choices, wine selections and event planning options, all perfected by the experience possessed by the talented team of chefs and event coordinators employed by this most successful catering group.
