Crown Mats Reacts To Recent Pain Survey

Crown Mats and Matting, one of the oldest and largest mat manufacturing companies in the United States, announces special pricing on all premium anti-fatigue mats made with the company's patented Zedlan now through September 30, 2012. *

Crown Mats is an industry pioneer in the development of anti-fatigue mats.

The decision to announce the special pricing is partially the result of a June 2012 survey conducted by the company that found more than 55 percent of respondents report they have experienced foot or leg pain at work in the past month.

That number jumps to 77.8 percent when respondents were asked if they had experienced foot or leg pain "in the past year."

"We were actually a bit surprised at how high the numbers were," says JoAnne Boston, Business Development Manager for Crown Mats. "Of course we knew the problem exists, but not at this level."

According to Boston, anti-fatigue mats serve another purpose as well. They have been found to significantly reduce slip-and-fall accidents by providing a nonslip surface, "which can be especially important in large, busy, industrial locations."
