Dine, A Classic 1940's Style Eatery, Creates New Spring Menus

Chicago, IL (April, 2007) - Chicago's chic 1940's style American eatery, Dine (733 West Madison at Halsted; 312-602-2100) has created a new menu for the spring season. Dine, a classy yet casual restaurant known for its contemporary comfort food, serves up classic American favorites continuously all day and night.

Executive Chef, Chris Turano continues to create classic American comfort dishes with a modern twist. New items like Prince Edward Island Mussels ($11), Flash Fried Calamari ($9), Maryland Crab Cakes ($9/$12), Tomato Basil Bruschetta ($8), Red Ale and Cracked Black Pepper Shrimp ($9), Flatbread Pizza ($6), Spinach and Artichoke Bake ($8) and Warm Leek and Gorgonzola Tart ($7) are the perfect way to begin your "Dine-ing" experience.

If you are looking for a light lunch, consider trying a fresh salad like the Dine House Salad ($7), Wedge Salad ($7), Caesar Salad ($7), Classic Cobb Salad ($9), Mediterranean Salad ($9) or the Spinach Salad ($7). If you are in the mood for a satisfying sandwich for lunch, try an old favorite like, the classic Dine Burger ($9) or the Smoked Turkey Club ($8). New sandwich additions include: Grilled Cheese ($7), Balsamic Vegetable Wrap ($8), and the Open Faced Strip Steak Sandwich ($12).

New pasta items like Portobello Mushroom Ravioli ($9), Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken ($11), Angry Shrimp and Penne ($14/$18) and the ever favorite Macaroni & Cheese ($8) are also available.

Classic comfort food continues to be the focus of Dine's menu. Try a great American classic dish for lunch like Windy City Meatloaf ($12), Beer Battered Fish and Chips ($10), classic Buttermilk Fried Chicken ($11), Grilled Atlantic Salmon ($14), Grilled Pork Chop ($9) and Chicken Pot Pie ($9). New dinner items include favorites such as Buttermilk Fried Chicken ($12), Roasted Chicken ($12), Chicken Pot Pie ($12), Liver and Onions ($13), Grilled Pork Chops ($16), and Beer Battered Fish and Chips ($12). Back by popular demand is Dine's famous Black Angus Meatloaf ($14).

If you are in the mood for a hearty meal, you can't go wrong with any of the new entr�e items on Dine's menu like New York Strip Steak ($27), Cedar Planked Salmon ($22), Lake Superior Whitefish ($18), and Asparagus & Mushroom Risotto ($14). Dine is located at 733 Madison Ave., at the intersection of Halted and Madison in Chicago, adjacent to the Crowned Plaza Chicago Metro Hotel. The restaurant, a stylish 1940's style eatery, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Lunch and dinner are served from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The Martini Bar and Lounge is open until 11 p.m. Sunday - Thursday and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Dining is available at the bar.
