THE TEAM
Chef Wang was born in Fujian, China and his family moved to Taiwan when he was 10 years old. After graduating from the Chinese Culinary School, Chef Wang worked at the prestigious Grand Hotel in Taipei, before moving to the U.S. in 1993. Chef Wang worked in New York, prior to moving to Boston and opened Taiwan Cafe in 1998. Due to the success of Taiwan Cafe and his desire to open a restaurant that combined both the Taiwan and Chinese cooking styles, Chef Wang decided to open the Dumpling Cafe in the heart of China Town.
Chef Chow was born in Fuzhuo in Southern China and moved to the U.S. in 1985 where he has worked in and opened several successful restaurants throughout New England before coming to work at the Taiwan Cafe. Chef Chow has now teamed up with Chef Wang to man the kitchen at the Dumpling Cafe.
