Early Bird Tickets For Let Us Eat Local On Sale Now: Sixth Annual Fundraising Event Features Tastings from NYC's Top Restaurants

On October 2, 2013, Just Food, a non-profit organization that connects NYC communities with local farms and local food, will host its sixth annual Let Us Eat Local Tasting Benefit. Early Bird tickets are now on sale through August 15th.

This year's festivities will include tastings from some of New York City's most celebrated chefs, food artisans, brewers, and wineries. VIP tickets include an Oyster & Cocktail Hour featuring Blue Island Oysters prepared by L&W Oyster Co. Rouge Tomate's Pascaline Lepeltier returns for a third year as Let Us Eat Local's Wine Curator.

The event will also include an ice cream contest and sundae bar featuring locally-sourced ingredients from artisanal producers including Adirondack Creamery, Blue Marble Ice Cream, OddFellows Ice Cream Co., Steve's Ice Cream and Victory Garden. Our panel of expert judges will include Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs of Food52, Anne Saxelby of Saxelby Cheesemongers and Richard Martin of Food Republic.
