Exec. Chef Ron Boucher Awarded Best Chef Educator '09

Taste of the Seacoast Magazine readers know a good thing when they see it. That's why they've selected Executive Chef Ron Boucher, C.E.C., A.A.C., veteran culinary educator and restaurateur, as the 2009 recipient of a Best of Taste Award for Best Chef Educator.
Earlier this spring, publishers of Taste Magazine ran a contest for their readers and fans to vote on the best the region has to offer in a range of food-related categories.
Chef Ron Boucher made the grade in the field of culinary arts, specifically education.In 2003, Boucher founded Chez Boucher Cooking School. Earlier this year, he relocated and expanded the school into a the region's first culinary arts center featuring education programs, the Gourmet Shoppe, film production studio kitchen, and the Chez Bouchon Dining Room. The Center is located at 32 Depot Square in the heart of historic Downtown Hampton. The school offers a wide range of classes and workshops designed to satisfy the novice cook, the gourmet enthusiast as well as the career-minded, culinary professional.
Throughout his career, Boucher has been recognized with the industry's top honors and awards; most recently New Hampshire Magazine's Best of 2009 and the Hampton (NH) Chamber of Commerce's "2008 Faith in the Future Award." Boucher is a proponent of the Slow-Food Movement.
