HOME PLATES is a = hour weekly cooking show  devoted to  serving the food you make to those you love!

HOME PLATES is hosted by Shelley Sikora, cookbook author, cooking instructor, and successful restaurant entrepeneur.
The programs focus is on creating contemporary home cooked meals. The studio is Shelleys own kitchen, which sets the stage for her gal-pal friendly approach to cooking. The shows content appeals to both foodies and non-foodies alike, with recipes that are new, simple and sometimes cutting-edge.

HOME PLATES is entertaining as well as informational with 1-minute segments like The Kitchen Tutor, an around-the-town look at food (like how to buy shrimp); Shelleys 5*Finds introduces new and unique kitchen gadgets; and Clueless in the Kitchen will show you how to do cooking techniques (like how to blanche a vegetable). And you may even catch a few cooking bloopers at the end of each show.

The first 3 episodes are - High Speed-Low Carb; A Bird in Paradise and Heart and Sole (our Valentines Day special) each promise to provide a sampling of whats to come in other episodes. Dont be surprised if well-known Valley or national celebrities occasionally appear as guests.
