FINN AND PORTER CELEBRATES EASTER WITH DELUXE SPRING LUNCH BUFFET

(AUSTIN, TEXAS – March 23, 2015) For the first time, Finn & Porter, located in the Hilton Austin, will open its doors for an Easter lunch buffet, Sunday, April 5th. Chef Maffei has created a luxurious Springtime spread certain to please the entire family, from the cold bar filled with seafood and salads to a carving station featuring four types of meats, and of course, an assortment of desserts. Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas are specially priced at $4 and $3 respectively. The buffet lunch will be served from 11am - 3pm.

The Bread & Cheese display includes assorted artisanal cheeses, house made croissants, baguettes, brioche, sourdough and crackers; and assorted jams and preserves. A Cold Bar features Gulf Shrimp, Snow Crab Claws and Oysters along with three salads; Orzo Pasta Salad with spinach and sundried tomatoes, Roasted Apple and Arugula Salad with crispy prosciutto, Maytag blue cheese and a Baby Romaine and Confit Tomato Salad with focaccia crisps, Parmesan and spiced Caesar vinaigrette.

A Carving Station includes Finn & Porter’s rendering of two holiday favorites, a pineapple brown butter-glazed ham plus a slow-roasted lamb. Also available is a Strube Ranch prime rib and honey-roasted turkey.

The Veggie Station features fried Brussels sprouts, grilled asparagus with hollandaise, butter whipped potatoes, Dijon tarragon fingerling potatoes, baby carrots marinated in coriander butter, whole roasted local root vegetables and duck confit dirty rice.

Topping it off is a dessert table filled with assorted cupcakes, cookies, truffles and petit fours.
