Fonte Cafe & Wine Bar Appoints Garrett Michael Brown As Executive Chef

Fonte Cafe & Wine Bar has appointed Garrett Michael Brown as executive chef. Brown brings to the kitchen his innovative, seasonally relevant menus rooted in organic and sustainable ingredients along with a passion for guest service.

"Garrett's extensive understanding and knowledge of kitchen management, combined with raves about his culinary talent from Seattle Times writer Nancy Leson and Seattle Metropolitan magazine, make him a valuable team member" said Paul Odom, owner of Font� Caf� & Wine Bar.

Prior to joining Fonte Cafe & Wine Bar, Brown was chef at Belltown's Branzino. He has held the position of executive chef at Verve Wine Bar and Bistro. His craft was also honed at other notable kitchens, such as Ray's Boathouse, The Harvest Vine and Fremont's 35th Street Bistro. Chef Brown is a graduate of the Seattle Art Institute's culinary program and also holds a BA in Communication and Theatre Arts from the University of Puget Sound.
