Food 101 Sandy Springs Celebrates Seafood
ATLANTA (February 18, 2008) - Chef Justin Keith and Food 101 - Sandy Springs sets sail this spring with a monthly seafood dinner beginning March 20 with an oyster dinner ($35 per person plus tax and gratuity), April 17 featuring a lobster dinner ($40 per person plus tax and gratuity) and May 22 celebrating crab ($40 per person plus tax and gratuity). April 17 Lobster Lovers Live It Up at Food 101 Lively discussions are sure to ensue as Chef Justin Keith tips guests off as to how to select the freshest and most sustainable seafood at the market. The entire lobster will be served on Thursday, April 17: Shells to make a lobster stock for bisque, the leg meat for spring rolls, and the roe to flavor drawn butter. 4-course lobster dinner with wine pairing $45 per person plus tax and gratuity (optional wine pairing an additional $15 per person)
May 22 Chef Justin Keith Serves Crabs Soft crabs, hard crabs and peelers served just as they should be - simple. Crabs are in season and will be celebrated in high fashion at Food 101 on Thursday, May 22. FOOD 101 - Sandy Springs Chef Justin Keith is a graduate of Valdosta State University and Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Phoenix, AZ. His Southern roots come from his childhood summers spent on his grandparents' sugar mill picking corn and blueberries. His biggest satisfaction is "developing creative, approachable dishes featuring my Southern roots while utilizing and promoting local farmers' products when possible."
