Food Fete Accepts Submissions For New Product Showcase July 9 In New York City

Food Fete, producers of invitation-only press events that showcase new gourmet food, beverage and kitchenware products, today began accepting product submissions for its upcoming Food Fete press event on Monday, July 9, 2007 in New York City.

Brand marketers and public relations agencies representing clients that are interested in exhibiting their newest products to the food, beverage and lifestyle press can download Food Fete's Summer '07 brochure (PDF) from the Food Fete website at www.foodfete.com.

Now in its third year, Food Fete brings together food, beverage and kitchenware products with top food editors. Rather than compete for media attention against thousands of other exhibitors at large trade shows, Food Fete participants can sample and demonstrate their products among dozens of top food editors in a casual, cocktail party setting. Food Fete is limited to 30 companies, keeping the event intimate and extremely focused, which continues to be one of its biggest media draws.

"Food Fete adds an important layer of personal, face-to-face interaction with journalists that not only helps build relationships for the long term, but offers the rare opportunity to get immediate feedback from an influential group of food editors," said Jeff Davis, founder and producer of Food Fete.

"Food Fete is an extremely efficient way to accomplish PR goals in a short period of time, particularly for smaller, artisanal food companies that don't regularly engage in media relations activities."

Previous Food Fete events have attracted consumer and trade editors from media outlets including Bon Appetit, BusinessWeek, Fast Company, Food Network, Forbes.com, Good Housekeeping, Gourmet, Gourmet News, Martha Stewart Living, Saveur, TIME and The San Francisco Chronicle, among many others. Food Fete is open only to qualified food, beverage and lifestyle journalists. Journalists wishing to attend Food Fete may send their request to rsvp@foodfete.com.
