Food Fete Seeks Gourmet Food & Beverage Products For Media Reception
Food Fete, producer of exclusive, invitation-only press receptions for the gourmet food industry, is looking for America's newest, hottest and most innovative gourmet food and beverage products to be showcased at its debut media reception scheduled for Jan. 24, 2005 in San Francisco.
Created as a platform to help gourmet food and beverage companies build valuable relationships with food and lifestyle journalists, Food Fete is particularly eager to hear from new food companies wanting to build market exposure for their newest trend-setting products. Companies with recently introduced food products currently in the early stages of their marketing and PR programs also are encouraged to apply. Some of the product trend categories well-suited for Food Fete include organic foods, kid-healthy foods, premium chocolates, teas and beverages, ethnic foods and artisanal cheeses, among others.
When bringing a new food product to market, whether by a well-established or upstart company, it is important to develop relationships with the right food journalists who can be influential in shaping market acceptance, said Jeff Davis, Food Fete founder. Reaching a national audience also can be a costly and time-consuming undertaking, which is why we see Food Fete as being a strong value and great opportunity to meet numerous journalists during a casual cocktail reception.
Food Fete will be limited to 35 companies, which will pay a fee to participate and exhibit their products. Companies interested in participating should e-mail Food Fete at exhibitors@foodfete.com. Sponsorship opportunities also are available. Food and lifestyle journalists interested in attending Food Fete may request an invitation by e-mailing their contact information to press@foodfete.com.
