Food Gps And Helen Springut Host First Annual Los Angeles Fried Chicken Fest
Who: Food GPS and Helen Springut produce a fried chicken festival featuring nine of Los Angeles's best chefs:

What: Each chef will prepare their version of one of the world's best-loved dishes, using Mary's Free Range Chicken from Pitman Family Farms; ticket price is all-inclusive and entitles purchasers to a piece of fried chicken and a side dish from each participating chef. Fried Chicken Fest also includes bottomless cocktail punches from Josh Goldman of Mess Hall, featuring the Knob Creek Family (Bourbon, Rye, and Single Barrel) and El Tesoro Tequila, as well as endless craft beer from Firestone Walker Brewing Co., all set to the beats of DJ Stepdad (Davidson Fernie of Pour Vous). Ten percent of proceeds will benefit Share Our Strength, a charitable organization whose goal is to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.

Information: Tickets for the event are limited, and available exclusively at www.lafriedchickenfest.com Cost is $45 per person through August 19, and $55 per person thereafter.
