(New York, NY) - Italian eatery NAIMA, located at 513 West 27th Street between 11th and 12th avenues, is right in the heart of the bustling gallery and trendy club district. This converted urban garage brilliantly transforms its interior into a cozy and stylish contemporary setting, boasting an extensive wine list and a delicious menu of authentic, fresh family recipes from Italian owners Roberto Vuotto, Alessandro Passante and Samir Jahdadic.
Nestled between the high energy clubs of West Chelsea, NAIMA is now offering an even greater experience to diners and music lovers looking for the perfect spot that is both chic and low-key. The subtly-lit simple composition consists of glass, wood, stone and white washed brick with a sky-high ceiling and a back wall that showcases the restaurant's exceptional wines.
For the New Year, a fresh and original winter menu has been created, inspired by the regional cuisine of Campania has been created. Favorites include the appetizer Pera ripiena di gorgonzola, noci avvolta con prosciutto - cold pear stuffed with gorgonzola cheese, walnuts and wrapped with prosciutto $12; the Cannelloni ripieni -- homemade cannelloni filled with b�chamel sauce, ground beef and mixed cheese $16; Tonno in crosta di pistachio con spanici saltati in padella - pan seared pistachio crusted tuna served with saut�ed spinach and fried artichoke $28 and the Ossobuco alla Milanese con risotto allo zafferano - braised veal shank Milanese style served with safferon risotto $34. In addition, NAIMA offers their signature desserts, cocktails and over 125 wines that are all unique in style but the best that Italy has to offer.
NAIMA is transformed into a high energy space with great sounds on Thursday and Saturday nights when DJs take to the back booth and spin live sets. Thursday nights starting at 9:30 pm is known as Anima@Naima where resident DJ Mark Flynn showcases his talent featuring electronic beats. NAIMA is also launching a new party one Saturday a month called "Don't Tell Justine" which celebrates world renowned DJs and takes guests back to a time before huge clubs and overpriced bottle service. It is simply a night to enjoy good music and good people in a great atmosphere.
NAIMA is open for lunch five days a week and dinner six days a week. Lunch is served Monday through Friday noon - 4 pm. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday 6 pm- midnight. DJs spin Thursday and Saturday nights from 9:30 pm - 2 am.
