Former South Beach/las Vegas Chef Returns

Chef Frank Copestick - RED SQUARE, MIAMI AND LAS VEGAS has finally found a home with owners Michael and Diane Gomori as they open Passion The Restaurant in Chesapeake, VA. A 65 seat, 2500 sq. ft. space with full open kitchen designed by Chef Copestick. The restaurant will be a great addition to the Southeast Virginia dining scene, accessing local farmers and fishermen. The menu will change with the season and availability.
Opening menu features Pan Roast Rockfish with "Dave and Dee's" oyster mushrooms in risotto, with a puree of local beet vinaigrette, Shrimp and Grits- Carolina Shrimp wrapped in Serrano ham with cheddar cheese grits and Chef's BBQ sauce, "Harris Ranch" NY Strip with truffled pomme frites and wild mushroom ragout.
Desserts and baked bread will be done on site in a rustic style. Opening wine list contains 43 bottles and is very eclectic, with many glass offerings.
The best feature is a private Chef's table encased by a custom-made horseshoe banqette, available for tasting menus with the Chef.
