Frederic Lange Resigns From Lafayette Restaurant

Frederic Lange, Executive Chef, has resigned from the Lafayette Restaurant in the Hay Adams hotel. Just past his 3-year anniversary across from the White House, he left June 30, 2001, to pursue an independent venture.

After 15 years in Washington, DC restaurants, most recently The Seacatch in Georgetown and La Colline on Capital Hill, he feels "the timing is perfect" to open his own restaurant. He is exploring opportunities in the Tucson, Arizona region.
