The Award-Winning French Culinary Institute Offers Scholarship and Tuition Reduction for December 15th Start Date

New York, NY (November 22, 2010) - The French Culinary Institute (FCI) is pleased to announce a new scholarship opportunity for its Classic Culinary Arts program which begins on December 15th as well as a tuition reduction for its Classic Culinary Arts evening program starting on December 15th. Both offers are designed to make the transition for students moving into the culinary field more affordable.

The Friends of The FCI is offering the Winter Scholarship Award for a student who enrolls in the Classic Culinary Arts programs, which begins on December 15th. The Friends of The FCI Winter Award is a $10,000 scholarship, which consists of $5,000 from the Friends of The FCI and a matching contribution of $5,000 from The French Culinary Institute. The Winter Scholarship Award will be awarded on December 3rd. The application deadline is November 22nd.

The Evening Culinary Student tuition reduction of $5,000 is for students enrolling in the Classic Culinary Arts evening program starting on December 15th. The new cost of the program will be $34,550.
