Fsa Group Continues Growth With Addition Of New Client

FSA Group executive vice-president and co-owner Daniel Maye announced that the American Cheese Society (ACS) joined the FSA family in August as its newest association client.

Barry King, who has been with FSA Group for four years, will serve as account executive for ACS, which recently held its annual conference at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Ky.

"We're very excited to add ACS to our growing list of national and international associations," Maye said. "It was a great opportunity to have them here for their 2001 conference in Louisville, giving FSA Group the opportunity to showcase our capabilities in the association management, public relations and event planning areas."

The American Cheese Society was founded in 1982 and has grown to include approximately 650 members. The Society's membership includes farmstead, artisanal, and specialty cheese makers; academicians, marketing and distribution specialists; specialty retailers, food writers and cookbook authors. In addition, members of the Society work with the federal government and the FDA concerning issues that involve accepted standards and practices in the production of cheese and fermented dairy products. Each year at its annual conference the Society sponsors a prestigious cheese competition and its Annual Festival of Cheeses.
